She clarified that it wasn’t a departure from Tollywood, but a conscious decision to wait for the right project. Now, she’s signed a new Telugu film, with details to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, Pooja will be seen in the Tamil film Retro opposite Suriya, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Set to release on May 1, 2025, the film blends romance and action, featuring Joju George, Jayaram, Karunakaran, and a special dance number by Shriya Saran.
