Pooja Hegde recently commented on the increasing speculation regarding a possible reunion with Allu Arjun after the success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. At the audio launch of her upcoming film Retro, she hinted that another collaboration could be on the cards, saying, “If there’s a good story, strong characters, and the timing is right, we’ll definitely do it.” Her statement has sparked excitement among fans eager to see the duo together again.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo emerged as one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2020, raking in over ₹250 crores at the box office. The movie’s music also struck a chord with audiences, with the hit song “Butta Bomma” becoming the most-viewed Telugu track on YouTube. Pooja is currently busy promoting Retro, in which she stars opposite Suriya, set to release on May 1, 2025. She also has a strong lineup of projects ahead, including Jana Nayagan with Thalapathy Vijay and a cameo in Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
