Harshaali Malhotra Joins Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2

Harshaali Malhotra, widely cherished for her lovable role as Munni in Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), is gearing up for her debut in Telugu cinema with Akhanda 2: Thandaavam. Directed by Boyapati Srinu and starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, the film introduces Harshaali as Janani—a character first unveiled through a striking poster shared by production house 14 Reels Plus on X (formerly Twitter). Described as “a smile of an angel and a heart of gold,” her character has already captured fans' attention. The film is set to hit theatres on September 25, 2025, aligning with the festive Dussehra season.

The sequel builds upon the high-voltage, spiritual-action theme of the original Akhanda (2021), with an even more intense and visually grand experience. The teaser showcases Balakrishna in a fierce divine avatar, delivering powerful action sequences choreographed by the celebrated duo Ram-Lakshman. Joining the ensemble are Samyuktha and Aadhi Pinisetty, with the latter portraying the central villain in the film. With S. Thaman scoring the music and C. Ramprasad handling cinematography, Akhanda 2 promises to be a dynamic blend of mythology, emotion, and high-octane action—setting the stage for one of 2025’s biggest theatrical releases.
