Telangana’s Electronics Hub Expands with Four New Manufacturing Units
The foundation stone for four major manufacturing units was laid at Telangana’s electronics manufacturing cluster in Divitipally, Mahabubnagar. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw led the ceremony, marking a significant step in India's push for electronics and EV manufacturing.
Key projects include Amara Raja’s Giga Factory-1 for battery cells, Lohum’s critical mineral refining unit, Scell Energy’s cell casing facility, and Altmin’s LFP-CAM Giga Factory. These ventures aim to enhance India’s EV ecosystem and create over 19,000 jobs, boosting economic growth and innovation in the region.
