Divine drama awaits – 'Kannappa' announces new arrival!

Vishnu Manchu's much-awaited mythological film Kannappa has been rescheduled for release on June 27, 2025, to allow for further post-production improvements. Initially planned for an April 2025 release, this shift will provide the team with more time to ensure the film meets the highest standards before hitting theaters. The new date was announced during a meeting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow, where a fresh poster and sneak peeks of the film’s scale were also presented.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa tells the inspiring tale of Bhakta Kannappa, a hunter who evolves from a non-believer into a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, ultimately offering his life in sacrifice. Vishnu Manchu stars in the title role, with Akshay Kumar portraying Lord Shiva and Kajal Aggarwal as Goddess Parvati. The film also includes special appearances by Prabhas and Mohanlal. Set to release across multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, this epic will appeal to audiences nationwide.
