Allu Arjun: Took 80+ takes to nail 'Pallu' shot in Pushpa 2

Allu Arjun recently revealed an intriguing behind-the-scenes story from the making of Pushpa 2: The Rule, sharing that the iconic 'pallu' shot took more than 80 takes to perfect. Speaking at the WAVES 2025 Summit in Mumbai, he described how the team began filming the challenging scene at 8:30 AM, wrapping up the final take around 2:30 PM. The process was so precise that they lost count of the attempts, with the final shot landing between the 78th and 85th take.

Despite the difficulties, Allu Arjun stressed the significance of persistence and commitment in achieving the perfect shot. The 'pallu' scene has now become one of the film’s most memorable moments, contributing significantly to the success of Pushpa 2. Directed by Sukumar and starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film has grossed over ₹1,234 crore in India and ₹1,871 crore worldwide.
