Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, the first in a two-part spy thriller, could face another delay, with a new release date set for July 25, 2025, due to re-shoots.
Vijay Deverakonda’s eagerly awaited pan-India venture Kingdom is likely to experience another postponement, with reports suggesting a tentative release date of July 25, 2025. Helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film was initially scheduled to premiere on March 28, 2025, but has undergone several reschedules. It was first deferred to May 30, then shifted to July 4, and now could face further delays due to ongoing re-shoots. An official statement from the production team is yet to be made.
Kingdom is an espionage action thriller that kicks off a two-film franchise. The project stars Bhagyashree Borse in the lead female role, supported by Satyadev and Koushik Mahata in significant roles. Principal photography kicked off in June 2023, with shoots taking place in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kerala, and Sri Lanka. The music score is crafted by Anirudh Ravichander. Despite the repeated delays, anticipation among the audience remains high as they look forward to the film’s eventual debut.
