In April 2025, the Bandra Police filed a charge sheet detailing the January 16 attack on Saif Ali Khan. The investigation, which included 111 witnesses and 48 statements, revealed that the accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, spent about an hour hiding in Khan’s building before attacking him. He later hid in a nearby building.
According to Saif and Kareena Kapoor, the intruder demanded money in their son Jeh’s room and attacked Saif when confronted. Their son Taimur assisted by taking Saif to Lilavati Hospital. The charge sheet emphasizes the severity of the attack and the family’s quick response.
