Actor Prakash Raj has expressed concerns about Pawan Kalyan and Vijay's political involvement, suggesting their entry is driven more by fame than a genuine understanding of governance. In an interview on the Prashna YouTube channel, Raj questioned their political vision, stating that while their popularity opened doors for politics, it doesn’t guarantee effective leadership or sound policies.
Raj highlighted that neither Pawan Kalyan—who became Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh in 2024—nor Vijay, who plans to contest in the 2026 Tamil Nadu elections, has shown a clear political vision or deep understanding of the country’s issues. He criticized their inconsistent political positions and said discussions with them about politics seemed shallow, lacking the depth needed for true leadership.
