Shruti Haasan is reuniting with Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel for the upcoming action film NTRNEEL. As per reports, she’ll appear in a special song sequence—an uncommon feature in Neel’s films. This marks her second collaboration with both Jr NTR and Neel after Ramayya Vasthavayya and Salaar. Rukmini Vasanth is rumored to play the lead, though it's not confirmed.
Currently being shot in Karnataka, the film may be titled Dragon, with Jr NTR filming until May 2025. Music is by KGF composer Ravi Basrur. The release of NTRNEEL is planned for January 9, 2026, in five languages.
