The Women’s football scene showed some promise, with improved performances and international friendlies, but support and investment are still minimal. Looking forward, fans hope that the upcoming strategic roadmap promised by the AIFF includes firm timelines, league restructuring, investment in sports science, and infrastructure upgrades. India may host more international fixtures soon, but unless systemic changes are made, results may not improve.
