Early reviews for Vijay Kanakamedala’s rural action thriller Bhairavam have surfaced, with critics describing it as a “fairly engaging” experience. Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohith take center stage, delivering memorable performances that elevate the film’s captivating storyline. Social media reactions highlight the movie’s strong narrative, though some note a sluggish beginning. One viewer commented, “The start feels uneven… but it maintains interest and concludes the first half with a powerful mass appeal.” Another said, “A decent first half! Once the story unfolds, it stays engaging, leading up to a solid mass-heavy interval.”

Bhairavam marks the much-awaited return of Manchu Manoj to Telugu cinema after nine years, where he takes on the role of the determined Gajapathi Varma in a rural backdrop. Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, famed for his work on Naandhi and Ugram, the film masterfully fuses neo-noir style with electrifying, fast-paced action scenes. The film’s aesthetic is further enhanced by the impressive cinematography of Hari K. Vedantam, complemented by Sricharan Pakala’s emotionally resonant music. Bhairavam, produced by Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts and presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, is scheduled for release on May 30 and promises to captivate viewers with its compelling drama and gripping story.
